Friends of Pathways Trail Guide

Headquartered at 610 W. Broadway Avenue #204, Friends of Pathways is an organization that unwaveringly supports trail access to Jackson Hole locals and visitors alike. The group is committed to maintaining a safe and connected system of local pathways made up of sidewalks, trails, and bike lanes alike that encourage everyone to get out and enjoy an active lifestyle. The result is over 56 miles of paved pathways between Jackson, Grand Teton National Park, and Teton Village. They’re ideal for road cyclists and explorers looking for a way to enjoy sightseeing and outdoor recreation at their own pace. The Friends of Pathways Trail Guide is an incredible resource for planning your cycling route in summer and winter alike and also identifies trail etiquette for sharing pathways successfully. The guide also indicates trail and pathway grooming schedules so adventurers can plan accordingly.

Jackson Hole Bike Park

When you’re looking for a one-stop resource in town for cycling adventures, Jackson Hole Bike Park has you covered. Located within the greater Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on Cody Lane, the Jackson Hole Bike Park hosts trails fit for every skill level from smooth routes to those that showcase jump tracks, tabletops, and sharp corners. Getting to your preferred starting point is a breeze thanks to the Sweetwater Gondola and the Teewinot Chairlift making for simple rides to the top. As you make your way to the summit, be sure to enjoy views from 1,276 feet up! Between June 15 and September 8, park hours are 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Bike park tickets begin at $44 with a full-day bike lift and rental package available for $162.

Grand Targhee Bike Park

Yet another fantastic option for mountain bikers in Jackson Hole is the Grand Targhee Bike Park within the Grand Targhee Resort. Head over to 3300 Ski Hill Road in nearby Alta to access over 2,000 vertical feet of terrain and no less than 70 miles of multi-use trails to pair downhill mountain biking with cross-country adventures too. The trails here are lift-serviced for added convenience and trails are adaptable to all skill levels. While some trails are challenging and twisting singletracks, others are ideal for those just starting out needing some space to practice. The park is typically open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and an adult seasonal bike park pass for those 13 and up begins at $260. An adult lift ticket begins at $60 while a junior lift ticket for those 6 to 12 can be purchased for $45.

Snow King Mountain Biking

Located mere minutes from the iconic Cache Creek Trailhead, Snow King Mountain is a must-visit for cycling enthusiasts the next time travel plans bring you to Jackson Hole. You’ll find Snow King Mountain and its many biking trails at 402 E. Snow King Avenue in Jackson. From here, cyclists can access Snow King, Game Creek, and of course, the Cache Creek network of trails as well. Season passes and day passes alike can be purchased on-site and there are options to rent bikes in the summer as well.

Jackson Hole Bike Park

Ride the Sweetwater Gondola up 1,276' vertical feet with your bike to ride down on one of our new trails. Options abound for every level including novice trails for the uninitiated as well as eye-opening advanced trails and jump tracks. Sail over tabletops, flow around corners and then catch the Teewinot lift or Sweetwater Gondola for a 5-minute ride back to the top.

JH Sports Youth Bike Camp The JH Sports Youth Bike Camp is perfect for 7- to 13-year-old bikers who are physically and mentally ready to spend five full days of supervised mountain biking. Your child must be able to ride a 20"" bike, confidently operate hand brakes, and balance safely on their bike-both seated and while standing on the pedals.

Adaptive Biking All trails on the lower mountain off of Teewinot with the exception of True Grit are compatible with adaptive bikes. And, Deepest Darkest is the only trail compatible with adaptive bikes off of Sweetwater.

Grand Targhee Bike Park

The Grand Targhee Bike Park offers every style of riding for every level of mountain bike rider: Gentle, banked cruisers; tight and twisty singletrack, cross country; gnarly, rock-strewn downhill; drop-offs; and much more.
