Hiking Trips & White Water Rapids
You can enjoy a customized hiking trip with an expert hiking guide. One of these hikes can take you off the beaten path where you can explore the more peaceful corners of the valley. In Jackson Hole, there are many experienced guides that will educate you on the various flora, fauna, and history of the local ecosystem. Even if you’re not an experienced hiker, you can choose the length and difficulty of your hike to better suite your needs.
The shorter and moderate to easy hikes offer the chance to learn about the wildlife, plants, and wildflowers. The longer and moderate to strenuous hikes offer you the chance to travel further into the backcountry, summit a peak, or reach a remote alpine lake. All hikes can be customized based upon your skill level and interests.
Another great activity for the family is white water rafting. You can either paddle through a class III river with some real fun rapids, or have a calm scenic float and see abundant wildlife.
Through Snake River Canyon, you can experience small or large wave rapids with calm sections following each rapid. This is a great family river and also great for all ages. There will always be an experienced guide in your boat to help you traverse the deep and wide river.
